Mid Century Japanese Samarai Hakata Doll on Original Wood Base. (5 pieces total-doll, 2 swords, 2 bases). Circa: 1950's to 1970's. This is a Beautiful Hakata Doll from Japan. It is a Standing Samarai with 2 Samarai Swords in a Richly Painted Blue Kimono. He has a metal rod on the bottom that fits into the light wood stand. A Black wood stand also comes with it. It is signed: Made in Japan. The Painting is Fantastic -- Very Detailed. Fantastic Condition for the Age. 12 inches tall by 6 3/4 inches wide. Light Wood Base is: 6 inches by 8 1/4 inches. Black Base is 8 1/4 inches by 10 1/4 inches. Overall Excellent - some light wear - the smaller sword has an edge chip. Photographs are considered part of the listing description.
