Vintage (1970) Japanese Kimono, Complete With Obi & Accessories Gorgeous
The hand-stitched kimono is a pale blue, with green, blue pink and white floral and geometric designs. It comes with a nagajuban, or under-kimono (not pictured) which is pink and has separate sleeves. There are 4 koshihimo, or thin sashes, and a korin, or elasticated belt used to keep the kimono fastened under the bust. There is a stunning obi in deep red with green designs and gold thread. With it is a date jime, or under-obi, an obi makura (small pillow used to bulk out the obi knot), the obi ita (a flat plastic band) and the obi jime, a gold and green ornamental cord tied over the obi (this comes in its original box).

Condition of the entire outfit is excellent - it was worn only a couple of times and has been stored since then, so there are some wrinkles. The furisole is 61" long, shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 26", sleeve edge to sleeve edge is 52.

The obi is 13' 9" in length, and 12" wide, patterned entirely along one side. PLEASE NOTE: No hair accessories or wig are included in this listing.
